Ponchatoula police are investigating a shooting that wounded two people at Tasker Park on Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded around 5 p.m. to a 911 call about shots fired in the park on North First Street. On arrival, they found a man who had been shot in the leg.
North Oaks Hospital notified them of a second victim who had showed up, also with a gunshot wound to his leg. Both victims are reportedly in stable condition.
No word yet about a suspect or a motive.
