There's a different plan for Gretna Fest this year.
It usually offers three days of live music, food vendors, and shopping from local artisans. But this year the festival will be a concert series on several Friday nights in October.
The festival's organizers say a major overhaul of the Gretna Marketplace is underway, and may take up to six months to complete.
The live entertainment series in the downtown area will be called Gretna Festin'.
