A man and a woman are sentenced to prison for their involvement in a fatal fentanyl overdose in St. Tammany Parish.

Dustin Banks died in 2024 of an overdose in a home in Slidell.

Paige Andrews of Lacombe pleaded guilty on Monday to manslaughter and was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Her co-defendant, Dustin Carver of Slidell, was previously sentenced to 15 years for distributing fentanyl.

Investigators used surveillance video to identify Andrews and Carver as the suspects who had provided Banks with the fentanyl.
