Companies are looking for compensation after a New Orleans attorney was recently convicted in connection to a staged wrecks scheme.
Jason Giles, formerly of the King Firm, was convicted on wire fraud, mail fraud, and obstruction charges.
Giles is now facing multiple lawsuits from companies and creditors, including BMW and American Express.
He's appealing his conviction, but Giles is facing sentencing in July.
