The Pelicans' search for a new head coach is underway. New Orleans has interviewed three candidates for the vacant coaching job.

Those candidates are reportedly Rajon Rondo, Steve Hetzel and Darvin Ham.

Rondo was hired in 2024 as a special assistant on Doc Rivers' staff in Milwaukee and would land his first head coaching job if New Orleans chooses to hire him.

The team has also reportedly requested to interview Pistons assistant Jarrett Jack and Spurs assistant Sean Sweeney.
