A Slidell couple is in custody and accused of defrauding Louisiana's Medicaid program out of nearly $135,000.
Louisiana State Attorney General Liz Murrill's office says Phuc Pham and Tran Pham are charged with government benefits fraud and filing false public records.
Officials say the couple underreported their incomes and failed to report their marital status in order to receive Medicaid benefits.
The two are locked up in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
