The man accused of firebombing a Tesla service center two weeks ago now faces a federal arson charge and has been rearrested.

John Hinkhouse was originally arrested last week on a state charge of simple arson. He bonded out the next day and was placed on house arrest with an ankle monitor.

The New Orleans Fire Department, the FBI, and the ATF worked together to build a federal case against Hinkhouse.

He's back in custody and was in shackles on Monday afternoon for a hearing at the federal courthouse.
