A change of leadership is in the works at the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority.
The RTA Board of Commissioners on Saturday invalidated its contract with CEO Lona Edwards Hankins, and authorized the chair to negotiate a separation agreement with her.
The board also approved a resolution to begin a national search for the next CEO.
No word as to who will serve in the interim.
