Louisiana State Police and the FBI are extraditing a man from Florida who reportedly threatened to shoot up a festival in New Orleans last month.

A spokesman for State Police Troop NOLA says Christopher Gillum will face a charge of terrorizing.

Okaloosa County deputies arrested Gillum at a hotel in Destin, Florida, last month.

Gillum is a former police officer who was on his way to New Orleans to shoot up a festival when he was arrested. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival was in progress at the time.
