Louisiana's U.S. House races, originally set for Saturday, will instead be held in the fall.
Gov. Jeff Landry on Thursday signed a bill to reschedule the primary for November 3rd and any runoffs for December 12th.
Landry earlier suspended the House races after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the state's congressional district maps were unconstitutional because of race-based gerrymandering.
House races will still appear on this weekend's ballot, but no votes will be counted. All other races will proceed as planned.
