Louisiana To Receive Nearly $19M From FEMA For Hurricane Recovery

Louisiana will receive nearly $19 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for hurricane recovery efforts.

U.S. Senator John Kennedy made the announcement on Thursday.

Kennedy said FEMA funds will support repairs and debris removal in areas affected by Hurricanes Ida and Francine.

Lafourche, Jefferson, and Terrebonne Parishes will receive grants, along with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
