A Bogalusa man faces charges after a deadly crash that killed his teenage passenger at the end of a police chase.
Police tried to pull over Daniel Teoulet's car for a traffic violation in late April, and the chase was on. It ended with a crash on West 9th Street at Avenue G.
Police say Teoulet was hospitalized with serious injuries, and his 16-year-old passenger, Destiny Matran, died at the scene.
Teoulet is charged with manslaughter, flight from an officer, reckless driving, no seatbelt, and several traffic violations.
