Meta Names Baton Rouge As Pilot Location For AI Job Training Program

A new Meta training program will have a pilot location in Baton Rouge.

America's Workforce Academy will provide a four to five week curriculum to train workers for jobs in AI infrastructure.

Trainees won't need any previous experience and will be paid as they learn. Tuition, airfare, and lodging will be covered.

Graduates of the program will be employed by a Meta contractor and will be placed at Meta data center construction sites.

Meta is the owner of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.
