The LSU baseball team is adding a proven arm from the transfer portal.
USC transfer Diego Velasquez has announced his commitment to the Tigers. He is the sixth portal addition for LSU.
The right-hander was 5-1 with a 4.26 ERA in five starts and 15 appearances for the Trojans as a freshman.
In other news, junior college transfer and right-handed pitcher Hayden Morris will not be joining the program for the 2027 season.
