Tropical Storm Bertha made landfall around 2pm Wednesday afternoon.
The National Hurricane Center said the center of Bertha crossed over land near the Biloxi Wildlife Management Area in St. Bernard Parish. At the time, Bertha's maximum winds were measured at 45 miles per hour with higher gusts.
Further weakening of Bertha is expected as it moves westward.
