X Games Wrap Up In New Orleans

The X Games wrapped up Sunday after turning the Caesars Superdome into an arena for BMX, Moto X, skateboarding and other action sports.

Thousands of fans attended the weekend competition, which also featured 2 athletes from Louisiana.

Moto X rider Wyatt Fontenot of Opelousas won a gold medal Friday night, while BMX rider Broc Raiford of Destrehan finished outside the podium.

Superdome officials say they hope the event helps grow interest in action sports across Louisiana.
