LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt is finding that a recent injury is improving his performance in the pocket.
Leavitt suffered a hamstring injury in the week four game against Texas A&M. He's still able to play, but his ability to run is limited.
Since he's forced to stay in the pocket longer as the plays progress, Leavitt has thrown for 489 yards and five touchdowns in two games.
He says he'll be 100 percent recovered as LSU takes on Kentucky this weekend.
