A riot was declared last night in the Portland area suburb of Tigard after a group of about 100 Antifa thugs broken tried to break into the Police station and began tagging City Hall.

Tigard Police Department said in a press release:

"At around 8:30 p.m., approximately 100 individuals gathered at a business on SW Main Street in the City of Tigard. The group traveled to the Tigard Police Department, blocking traffic and tagging public and private property. At 8:45 p.m., the group arrived at the Tigard Police Department, broke windows, and tagged city property. The demonstration was declared an unlawful assembly, and shortly afterward, a riot was declared. The group walked through Tigard’s downtown business district on their way to and from the police department and vandalized several businesses. The group broke windows and tagged several properties in the area."

Despite the riots and damage, police only arrested one man.

The riots were in response to an officer involved shooting of a domestic violence suspect who was armed with a knife.

An officer shot and killed the man during the struggle to arrest him.
