Big Rig Driver Helps Police End Chase By Crashing Into Suspect’s Truck

California police chased a murder suspect for nearly two hours before a big rig driver collided with the suspect’s truck to finally put an end to it.

With police in-pursuit, Michael Caleb Reed, 36, drove the pickup truck at high rates of speed, sometimes heading in opposite traffic.

Reed is suspected in the shooting death of a 40-year-old man last month.

The chase finally ended thanks to tractor-trailer driver Ahmed Shabaan.

Here's another angle of the ending:

Shabaan tells L.A.’s Fox 11, “I just thought to get him off the street. If I didn't, and [officers] have been behind him for that long and didn't stop him ... I have the power."

Shabaan also appeared on Hannity last night where he added:

"I saw them chasing him about five blocks before where I hit him. I was talking to my friend on the phone. I was telling him, 'Hey, there is a car being chased by like 40-50 cops,' and he was like, 'Yeah, that guy is a murderer...
He took a left. So, my intention really was to block the entire intersection, but by the time my truck reacted and he gunned his truck and I gunned mine, we just slammed into each other."
