National Hurricane Center Watching Weather System In Caribbean

There are less than two months remaining in this year's Atlantic hurricane season with possible trouble lurking in the Caribbean which could potentially lead to trouble in the Gulf.

Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center are watching a weather system currently off Central America that's working its way northwestward.

While conditions aren't favorable now for tropical development, that's expected to change this weekend or early next week, the NHC giving the system, as of Thursday morning, a 30% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next five days.
