New Orleans is getting slammed with heavy rain.

Flooding has hit the French Quarter and there is a tornado watch in effect that stretches from the Gulf Coast up to Baton Rouge.

There are also reports of "severe" damage north of the Capitol City. The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff says that trees are now blocking roads.

At one point, a power company lineman was trapped inside of a car, but he has been rescued.

The sheriff believes that multiple tornadoes tore through his parish but that has not been confirmed.

Slidell Police have also posted videos of potential tornado damage.
