Landry Warns Louisiana Residents About Today's Winter Storm

Gov. Jeff Landry and other state officials are warning the public to keep it close to home during the winter storm.

In a news conference on Monday, Landry and the others advised people to stay off the roads, wrap their pipes, use space heaters carefully, and keep an eye out for each other.

State Climatologist Jay Grymes said parts of Louisiana will see snowfall like they haven't had since a storm in the 1960s.

Landry said Louisiana has brought in some snow plows from Arkansas to help clear the roads.
