Actress Anne Heche has died of injuries following an automobile accident last Friday.
The announcement was made a short time ago by her family.
The 53-year old star of “Donny Brasco” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer” crashed her car into a home in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles last Friday. The Mini Cooper erupted in flames and started a fire that destroyed the home. Anne Heche never regained consciousness, and her family had previously said that life support would be turned off once any viable organs were harvested.
Anne Heche suffered a severe brain injury when she crashed her car into a house last week. She was not expected to survive. Also, she was under the influence of cocaine and possibly fentanyl.
