Governor Orders Flags To Half-Staff To Honor McCain

The American and Louisiana flags will be flying at half-staff through Sunday in the state to honor the late Arizona Senator John McCain.

The former POW, who spent decades in public service and was the GOP presidential nominee in 2008, died Saturday after a long battle with brain cancer.

Governor John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, called his order "a small token" of appreciation for McCain's service to the nation.
