Accused Bourbon Street Killer Says He Didn't Do It

The man arrested and charged with a Sunday night shooting in New Orleans' French Quarter that left a woman dead, and he and a security guard injured, says he didn't fire the weapon involved.

The New Orleans Advocate reports that's the claim made by Louis Barnes to his public defender.

Police arrested Barnes on murder and other charges after determining that Barnes grabbed the guard's gun after being told to leave Willie's Chicken Shack on Bourbon Street. However, surveillance video of the incident doesn't exactly show who fired the guard's weapon.
