Louisiana is sending help to Hurricane Maria-ravaged Puerto Rico.
Governor John Bel Edwards announced yesterday that more than 300 Louisiana National Guard members are being sent to the island where they will, among other things, provide engineering support and security.
Senator Bill Cassidy met with President Trump yesterday and suggested the use of U.S. offshore supply ships to help Puerto Rico.
