No Bond For Man Accused Of Killing Ex-Wife With Ax

The ex-husband of a Chalmette woman remains behind bars today after she was ambushed Wednesday morning and killed with an ax outside her home.

Kimberly Owens died at the scene, while her former husband Mark Owens surrendered to authorities later that day.

The 56-year-old appeared in court via a TV monitor yesterday where a Jefferson Parish judge ordered him held without bond.
