Boil Water Advisories & Precautions Still In Effect

Parts of Louisiana are still in recovery mode after this week's winter storm and the subfreezing weather conditions that will finally come to an end this weekend.
Interstates closed because of iced-over conditions has reopened.
Officials say weather-related low water pressure in communities in the southeastern part of the state including the east bank of New Orleans has prompted boil-water advisories.
Passengers at the NewOrleans airport were forced to use portable toilets after restrooms were left non-operational due to water-pressure problems. The toilets were back in operation Friday morning.
