Two Arrested For Harboring Escaped Fugitive In Mandeville

Police say they have arrested two people for harboring an escaped fugitive from Alabama at their home in Mandeville.

Officials confirmed yesterday they took Virgil Wilkerson and Tara Williams into custody for hiding Chris Dwayne Williams at a house on Rollins Street.

Both are now facing charges of assisting a felon after an escape.

Chris Williams had been on the run after breaking out of the Childersburg Work Release Center in Alabama where he was serving a 20-year sentence for manslaughter.
