Gov. Edwards Urges Louisianans To Keep Practicing Mitigation Measures

There are signs that Louisiana is beginning to flatten its coronavirus curve, but the state isn't there quite yet.

Speaking today, Governor John Bel Edwards specifically mentioned the stay-at-home order and social distancing and said they're paying off.

Edwards urged people to keep following the mitigation measures so that the numbers continue to go in the right direction.

Edwards pointed out that today marks one month since Louisiana announced its first case of COVID-19.

He added that it feels like the fight against the virus has been going on for six months.
